Sarah Elsadig is an interdisciplinary artist
with a long-standing career in both fashion and fine arts. Born and raised in Virginia and currently based in NYC, she holds a BFA in Fashion Design from Virginia Commonwealth University of the arts.

Sarah constructs a dynamic narrative that materializes the Black feminine psyche as a spatial and embodied site of continual transformation. Drawing implicitly on postwar psychological discourse, her work resists fixed or essentialist notions of identity, instead foregrounding subjectivity as fluid, relational, and historically contingent.
